In the face of a crisis of loneliness and isolation, we are building a business that fosters connection and belonging
On November 13, 2022, after 5 years of alcoholism, four trips to rehab, and nearly dying from withdrawal, I finally found sobriety. But figuring out how I would build my life without alcohol turned out to be nearly as difficult as getting sober in the first place. Eventually, after a lot of soul searching, I finally found hope for the future in the joy of handmade pasta. Pasta making has become not just my vocation but one of the central pillars of my sobreity. But I couldn't leave the world of recovery behind. I love making pasta, but I wanted to do more than that. I also wanted to share this passion with others, and I wanted to help people on the path to recovery navigate what, to me, always seemed the most frightening part of sobriety: getting back to real life without alcohol.
The end goal is fostering interpersonal connection and spreading joy through the art of food. We have a big social mission and a lot of work to do in the world of substance abuse. But we are, first, all about great, fresh pasta. That means sourcing the best possible ingredients and being obsessed with quality. It also means handcrafting our pasta with love and tireless attention to detail.
